Welcome to my History of the Hamilton Family.

The contents of this history are listed in the sidebar to the right. Much of what you read here was originally published in 1997 in my book "The Hamiltons".

There are only a few copies of that book still available, and although I could probably make quite a lot of money from publishing a second edition I have decided to share with interested people the content of the book by placing it on these web pages along with a considerable amount of material not in the original publication.

Copying and plagiarism are easy from the internet, however I would like to think that the descendants of the Hamiltons are honorable and honest people and I would ask you to respect the copyright conditions listed at the side.
